The Music Man at Rockwall Summer Musicals

I was honored to get asked if I wanted to attend another production at Rockwall Summer Musicals. So, naturally, I jumped at the chance. And this time, I had a lovely friend in the production. So, two birds with one stone! 

This is a show I’m not entirely familiar with. I’ve only seen it once before and sang the songs in choir many moons ago. So, I was so excited to go and experience this lovely musical as an adult. Just like with Into The Woods, the set was stunning. Every single backdrop had so much detail it took my breath away. And the talent that was on the stage was amazing. My standout was Kally Duncan as Marian. She was absolutely incredible. All of her high notes were hit effortlessly. My stand out song was “Till There Was You” which is one of my favorite love songs of all time. Marian and Harold Hill completely killed it and brought some tears to my eyes. 

The ensemble for this production was outstanding. It is not often that you can say that every single person was completely in character.
