Into The Woods at Rockwall Summer Musicals

If you know anything about me, you know I love me some Sondheim. And Into The Woods will always be my favorite of his. So when the opportunity arose for me to go and see Rockwall Summer Musical’s production of this classic, I jumped at the opportunity. Thanks again to Katie-Rose Watson and the entire Rockwall Summer Musicals team for making this girl feel important and appreciated. My experience was amazing and it was truly a night to remember.

Overall the bits that stood out for me where the set design and the costumes. Such a visually pleasing piece to not only look at but sit in awe even as the cast did set changes. My standout performances were “Giants In The Sky”, “Agony”, and “On The Steps Of The Palace”. You can see from every aspect of the production just how much work every single person has put in to this show. It’s truly a must see.

The talent of this cast was truly incredible. It’s not often that you can be gripped for an entire three hour production. Not a single detail was overlooked.
