My Favorite Things About My Dogs
For those of you who don’t know, I’m a dog mom to three absolutely adorable fur babies. These pups have such big, hilarious personalities. Copper is a five (almost six!) year old Beagle/German Shepard mix, Jack is a four year old Labrador mix, and Oliver is a two year old Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier mix. If you’d be interested in more posts dedicated to these cuties, let me know. For now, here are my favorite things about the best pups to ever exist. I’m biased, I know.
When it’s bed time, Oliver always curls himself up behind my knees. It’s his favorite place to sleep.
Jack howls along with me as I sing.
Copper loves to “dance” with me. He will weave in and out of my legs as I move around.
Oliver has this thing where he always steals the toys from the bigger dogs.
All three of them are constantly snuggling each other or giving each other kisses.
When Jack wants a belly rub, all you have to do is reach out toward his head and he immediately rolls over.
I love how much they love being on our patio or being outside in general. The sheer joy brings me so much happiness.
Most nights Copper will wake me up because he wants to share my pillow with me like he did when he was a puppy. However, he is now 80 pounds and not a puppy. I still share it with him and get in the best snuggles.
Oliver’s ears are hysterical. They are constantly flopping in different directions.
Most of the time when Jack naps, he is fully on his back with his legs in the air completely passed out.
One of Copper’s favorite spots is underneath the desk. Not sure if its cooler under there, but it’s super cute.
When I cry, at least one of them, if not all, lick away my tears.
Jack loves and I mean loooooooves booty scratches.
Oliver hardly ever leaves my lap. He has claimed it as his spot forever.
Most days all five of us fit onto the couch together. Family snuggles literally bring me so much joy.
Oliver totally prefers the toys that are too big for his 12 pound self. He will walk around with this chewy that is longer than his entire being like it’s nothing.
Whenever someone comes over or when someone comes home, Jack’s first instinct is to grab a toy. So he barks and is excited to see who is visiting and will bark with a toy in his mouth. Cutest thing ever.
Copper always takes James’ side of the bed. To be fair it was his first because I got Copper before James and I met. It’s so funny because the second James gets up, Copper literally swerves in and takes his spot. Always.
They love oatmeal. A lot.
The amount of times these dogs have saved my life can’t even be fashioned into words. They are my entire world.
