Summer Must Haves

It’s currently over 100 degrees here in Texas and I am absolutely dying for sweater weather. Nevertheless, I’ve found some really fun products over the past few summer months and am dying to share them with y’all!

  • PPL Eater Semi Permanent Hair Color from Good Dye Young: If you follow me on Instagram, you’d know that I bit the bullet and strayed away from my dark brown/black hard I’d had for a few years. PPL Eater is what I had in my hair for about 6 weeks. This OG formula is more of a blue basked purple. If you’re going for a true purple, try Good Dye Young’s website. I loved the multi-toned hair. It was such a fun look. Also, their formula is too die for.

  • Milk Makeup Kush Mascara: This is truly the best volumizing mascara I have ever used. It makes my lashes look out of this world and they never feel weighed down.

  • Milk Makeup Vegan Milk Moisturizer: I got a sample of this and really didn’t think much of it. Boy, was I wrong. The juiciness it provides to my dry ass skin. It also smells divine.

  • IGK Beach Club Texture Spray: If you’re looking for a dupe for the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, look no further. While the Oribe is amazing, that price tag is a lot. The IGK Texture Spray is half the price and does the same thing, in my opinion. I can layer it on for a few days and won’t feel too much weight in my hair but still get the tousled and bed head style that I desire!

  • American Cream Perfume from Lush Cosmetics: If you’re in need of the perfect summer fragrance, I’ve found it for you. This perfume smells like strawberries and cream and is honestly

  • The Berries by Juvia’s Place: Everyone should go out and support this amazing brand..like, yesterday. I’ve been trying to make the conscious effort to have more Black owned brands in my routine. These shadows are honestly out of this world pigmented. And since they are berry-toned, you can totally double them as blush!

  • Coconut Balm Dot Com from Glossier: We all know how much I love these lip balms. I recently introduced the coconut flavor into my routine and I’m in love. It’s not overly scented where it could cause a headache, but gives off the right amount of scent.

  • Lord of Misrule Perfume from Lush Cosmetics: My favorite scent family from Lush. It has patchouli, black pepper, and vanilla. The scent is so layered and perfect for anytime of the year. But it is especially good transitioning into Fall/Winter!

What products have you not been able to live without during these super hot months?
