What’s in my Show Bag + Glossier Duffel Bag Review

Now that we’ve closed Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party, it’s finally time to discuss all the goodies I kept in my bag for the four weekend run of the show. We had rehearsals for roughly five weeks before we opened. So most of my days were spent living out of a tote bag. Thankfully Glossier saved the day and released the duffel bag just in time for opening weekend. It fits everything you need and then some. Follow this link to save some money on your first Glossier purchase.

The Size: 18 x 10 x 10 and 100% polyester. She is durable and fits all that you need. Also washes easily. I may or may not have spilled some stage makeup in the bag after opening weekend.

The Price: $20 for a durable duffel bag? Can’t go wrong with that. Hopefully, more will be in stock in the October launch.

The Functionality:

Large enough to fit scripts, dance clothes, giant stage makeup bag, snacks, and character shoes. And it has a side pocket for a wallet. Yes, please.

Can you tell I’m in love?

What’s Inside:

  • My Makeup Bag: Stay tuned this week for a detailed post about the makeup I wore for Mae!

  • James’ Makeup Bag: This contains the tiny bit of makeup he had to wear for the show and a handful of hair care items we were sharing.

  • Character Shoes: My pair is perfectly broken in and are available here

  • Water Bottle: Swell bottles are a lifesaver when all you want is some cold water mid-way through a show.

  • Glossier bag full of extra goodiesOils galoreanti-chaffing powder, deodorant, and lip scrub. Gotta keep yourself fresh.

Any other performers think my bag is missing something? Sound off below and I can add it in for my next show!
