Monochrome Wardrobe Starter Guide
I work retail and I also just like dressing in all black. Call it an aesthetic, okay? Is that what the kids say these days? Anyways, these are my favorite pieces from head to toe and ones that I think everyone should have in their closet.
Cozy Cardigan: The best cardigans I have found are from Urban Outfitters. I have one in black and one in white for when I am feeling adventurous. The best part? They stay soft even after you’ve washed it a million times! I like these oversized so if I am wearing leggings my butt is covered. Or if I am wearing a crop top, I can tie the longer sides into a little knot around my tummy.
The perfect T-shirt: For real these ones from the men’s section in Urban Outfitters are to die for. Honestly, y’all, if you haven’t shopped in the men’s section for your basics, you should totally do it.
Skinny jeans the hug all the right places: These skinny jeans from Express are no joke. I bought them, gained a ton of weight, and now I can finally fit into them again. These jeans never suffocate you and make you feel self-conscious. Probably my favorite part about wearing them!
Low Rise Black Converse: I’m super basic, y’all. I love me a good pair of Chucks. They fit perfectly and go with everything.
Alexander Wang Rockie: Truly this bag is my most prized possession. This bag is perfect in every single way. A black bag is something that everyone should seriously consider owning. Obviously one of this price tag isn’t necessary. But one that fits your style and price range will work perfectly!
