Head To Toe Wednesday Addams Must Haves.
It has been such a dream come true to be able play Wednesday Addams. The Addams Family have always been near and dear to my heart since I grew up watching the TV series and the movies. So, prepping for my role was no joke for me. Keep reading for my must-haves for my entire look for a show of The Addams Family Musical. Buy tickets for the show here! I would love to see your beautiful face in the audience!

Braid Creme - I needed something specific for my braids. I needed something that would hold them in place, not be greasy, and not weigh them down for when I dance. That is where Lush’s Mr. Dandy’s Hair Candy comes in. This stuff works magic on keeping my braids in place for an entire show!
Vampy Lip - It took me awhile before I could find the perfect lip that would last the entire show and also not smear all over my Lucas’ face. My winner was the Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in Drop Dead Red. I love the Too Faced liquid lips for shows. I also love the shade Suck It, as well.
Pale Skin + Contour - I am all about a full coverage when I’m on stage. Wednesday needs to be completely muted out. And this foundation does that for me. The Dermablend Creme Cover in Warm Ivory is my go to. This is pigmented enough to cover a tattoo and covers any pigmentation and darkness beautifully for Wednesday and for the stage. I then set my face with the RCMA No Color Powder. For the minimal amount of color on my face, I contour my cheeks and my eyes with Mac’s Eyeshadow in Print and use Kat Von D’s eyeshadow in Lolita to make my eyes appear more tired.
Classic Dress - The dress was probably the biggest struggle. I was really picky about which dress I was going to chose. I finally found my perfect match at Hot Topic! This dress is so comfy and easy to change in and out of during quick changes. I’m in love! (Similar here!)
Black Tights - Considering I have many tattoos on my feet and legs, dance tights are always a must. My dance tights of choice are the Bloch Women’s Elite Endura Footed Tights. What a mouth full! These tights are thick enough to cover my tattoos and still look like skin but comfortable enough where they aren’t a pain in the ass to get in and out of.
Character Shoes - A must for any actress onstage. Perfect for just about every single role you will be cast for. My character shoes of choice are these bad boys. However, it is very likely that by my show dates I may just end up wearing my Doc Martens. That’s what Wednesday would actually wear, am I right?
